My nomination is for German Shepherd Dog Rescue UKI have suefrfed from M.E. for the past 6 years during which time I have had to drop out of school without taking my a-levels and have now had to rehome my German Shepherd, Arnold due to my mobility becoming worse.It was a heartbreaking decision to rehome Arnold but with my health deteriorating I am not able to walk him as often as I'd like to and it is with that I opted to find him a more active home. I love him so much and it kills me to think he is no longer my dog but I contacted GSDR who have supported me throughout this traumatic time via facebook/phone/text/e-mail. They came and asessed Arnold and within a week found him the most fabulous home where he is training with Mic Martin from dog borstal and has obedience and agility training every Sunday and plenty of river walks in Hertfordshire (his new home).Not only did they come to help me hand over Arnold to his new owners on the day but they are still here for me emotionally to support me through the tough times I now face having to live without my Arnold (through no fault of my/or his own).They are completely non-profit and work entirely off of their own backs even taking in dogs from the RSPCA (who destroy unwanted animals after 2 months) They hold a non-destruction policy NO MATTER WHAT and all of the volunteers transport and work out of their own pocket, spending much more than the rescue earns.I thank you for listening to my story, I can provide pictures of Arnold if you'd like to see him and all of GSDR deserve this prize and recognition at the very least.

The front of it is really cute when you put it on but the back has some proembls. When you zip it up doesn't stay flat on you back it's roles up like bacon or something. The zipper is just to long for the outfit. I'm disappointed for sure!
